Men's Group - Sexual Addiction - Chris Cole, MA, LPC

Men's Sexual Integrity - Chris Cole, MA, LPC
Purpose: To provide a safe and confidential group experience for men to deal with issues of sexual purity. The group experience is designed for men to develop healthy ways of thinking and behaving regarding their sexuality.
Group Goals:
To have a safe and confidential setting to explore and discuss issues of sexual addiction. To develop healthier thinking and acting regarding one's sexuality. To honor God, His Word, and respect one's self in the area of sexuality. To understand the nature of addiction, it's development and function. To support one other in our efforts to be set free from sexual addiction. To establish and maintain sexual sobriety and purity. To have accountability and support for recovery. To grow in Christ and bring healing in life and relationship with others.
Time: Thursday, meets every other week

Marriage Works: A Couples Group - Chris Cole, MA, LPC
Purpose: This couples group is designed to help couples develop the intimacy and connection they long to have. The format of the group is didactic and process in nature. Concepts will be discussed and group interaction will facilitate growth and healing. This group is for couples who are caught in repetitive patterns of relating that result in distress and loss of connection.
Group Goals:
Understand your relational pattern as an individual and your partners. Learn what blocks intimacy in marriage and how to develop healthy connections. Gain insight into how your family of origin impacts how you relate in your marriage. Provide support to others as they seek growth while receiving the same from others. Be honest about your struggles as a couple. Complete all group assignments and be prepared for group each week. Pray for other couples.
Who would benefit from this group?
Couples who are committed to the Lord and to each other. Those couples who need the encouragement of others. Couples who are willing to work hard on understanding their patterns. Those who are willing to change. Those who are able to make the time to attend all the meetings.
